The Cottage At Westglow
Adjacent to Westglow Luxury Spa and Salon, the Daingerfield House—also known as the Cottage—offers a rare blend of privacy and convenience. This spacious four-bedroom home provides commanding views of the Johns River Gorge, and on clear days, the Charlotte skyline is visible. Accommodating up to ten guests, the house was built in the 1950s by the daughter of Elliott Daingerfield, the renowned artist and original owner of Westglow.
The Lodge at Westglow
Situated a short drive from Westglow Village, The Lodge offers three separate guest suites with private entrances and expansive views of Westglow’s forested landscape and Grandfather Mountain. Renovated in 2015, each suite combines modern comforts with serene mountain surroundings, featuring high-speed Wi-Fi and smart TVs with streaming capabilities.
Award-winning dining at Daingerfield’s
Experience Daingerfield’s Restaurant, newly renovated in June 2024, offering refined dining with dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The menu blends Appalachian tradition with contemporary culinary techniques. Open Wednesday through Sunday, with last seating at 8:30 PM.
Elliott’s Piano Bar
Elliott’s Piano Bar at Daingerfield’s provides an intimate setting with handcrafted cocktails, an extensive wine selection, and views of Elliott Daingerfield’s artwork. Open Wednesday through Sunday, from 4 PM to 10 PM.
Westglow Luxury Spa

Westglow Resort & Spa occupies a historic 11-acre estate with views of Grandfather Mountain and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1917 as the summer home of artist and writer Elliott Daingerfield, the property is centered around the Greek Revival Manor House, which retains many of his original works.
