The Daingerfield House is an enchanting mountain retreat that perfectly balances privacy and convenience, just a short walk from the award-winning Spa at Westglow. Originally built in the 1950s by the daughter of famed artist Elliott Daingerfield, this cottage underwent extensive renovations in 2006, transforming it into a spacious four-bedroom, three-bath home with commanding views of the Johns River Gorge, and on clear days, even downtown Charlotte. The main level features a soaring two-story great room with a stunning stone fireplace, a chef’s kitchen with commercial-grade appliances, a glass-enclosed dining area, a billiards room, and three bedrooms (including one with an ensuite). Upstairs, the master suite offers a king bed, luxurious bath with jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and separate vanities. Outside, guests can enjoy stone terraces, a screened-in porch, and breathtaking mountain vistas, perfect for relaxing with an afternoon cocktail. Comfortably accommodating up to ten guests, Daingerfield House also includes a laundry room and requires a minimum two-night stay.
